NARDA SignalShark

NARDA SignalShark HF/VHF/UHF

Detect, analyze, and localize radio signals. SignalShark and SignalShark XT offer highly efficient detection across entire frequency ranges. Their advanced, ultra‑sensitive sensor technology—developed by Narda—captures even the smallest changes in today’s increasingly complex radio spectrum, in real time and without gaps. This makes SignalShark the ideal instrument for continuous spectrum monitoring, real‑time signal analysis, and accurate signal localization—whether for civilian applications or demanding defense scenarios

Overview

SignalShark Handheld 3310

As a mobile, handheld solution with a user‑friendly touchscreen, SignalShark is the ideal tool for field operations and inspections—especially “over the last mile.” At Narda, handheld means lightweight, portable, and built to withstand the demanding conditions of real‑world fieldwork.

Batteries can be hot‑swapped without shutting down the device, ensuring continuous operation. In the field, SignalShark delivers the same consistent RF performance as its stationary counterparts and uses a uniform communication interface across all system variants. This enables seamless integration of additional sensors or multiple “sharks,” allowing you to work with maximum flexibility.

Signalshark Rackmount 332X

For applications that require a permanent installation, Narda offers a dedicated rackmount version of the SignalShark. Whether used as a 19" rack‑mounted system or as a stand‑alone desktop device, SignalShark can be easily integrated into vehicles, data centers, and diverse infrastructure environments.

The SignalShark Remote Unit is delivered as a single device with rubber feet for immediate desktop operation. Thanks to its modular design, it can also be mounted in a 19" rack—either as a double unit or combined with a dummy module, mountable on the left or right side.

A carefully engineered airflow concept ensures optimal cooling even in tightly packed rack installations: fresh air enters from the front, while warm air is discharged at the rear.

SignalShark Outdoor 333x / DF Receiver Module 334x

The robust die‑cast aluminum housing (IP65) protects the sensitive electronics from dust, dirt, and water. Thanks to its wide temperature tolerance, the outdoor unit is also ideal for pole‑mount installations and supports continuous operation under the harshest environmental conditions—while maintaining remarkably low power consumption.

An integrated Windows 10 computer enables extensive signal pre‑processing and analysis directly on the device, significantly reducing the data load for remote transmission. In combination with our antenna solutions, not only spectrum monitoring but also direction finding becomes exceptionally simple.

Power can be supplied flexibly via Power over Ethernet (PoE) or solar panels, and communication is supported via Ethernet or cellular modem.
